While pulling out onto a highway, I was intent on the traffic I was trying to merge with (in Spain that means "getting ahead of everyone on the road 'cause the word "merge" doesn't exist in Castillian...period!), and I went into the red zone. I know I went into the red 'cause the engine quit on me.

Thanks to this list, I didn't panic. I knew I had hit the infamous "limiter", and no damage would be done to my baby.
I, of course, lifted off the accelerator immediately (besides the rest of the traffic was WAY behind me!).
