Default God D*mn Spacers!

After reading so many threads on dealers leaving spacers on, I decide to jack the car up for the first time since I got it in October. Low and behold...SPACERS!!!

Luckily my car has only 1200 miles and I have not driven it hard...THANK GOD I found these before tomorrow's autocross!!!

Do these techs at dealers even READ what the prep on the vehicles should be? I am pissed, but I'm glad I didn't drive on these things for 10,000...OR MORE. Unbelieveable. If it weren't for this forum I would never have known this. Thanks to all.

Totally different car!!! LOL! I just came back from a spin with the new Kumhos (wanted to scrub them a bit ) and the car feels awesome.

I cannot believe they didn't take those things out!! Couldn't that be dangerous?

There has been a lot of talk and cases of this in the UK of late. There are certain documents etc which the dealer must follow as part of the delivery specs.

Take a look at this thread, in particular Aquilla Eagle's post, I think it's the 3rd one down...

Honda states it is dangerous Therefore the dealers have risked your own personal safey. It is only a matter of time before somewone gets hurt. It states that the car should not exceed 12mph.

Wow, that sucks! But glad you found out before the auto-x. Before I got my S, I had already read about this problem with tech's not removing the spacers during PDI. So I specifically asked them to REMOVE THE SPRING SPACERS, in addition to not putting on any dealership decals.
