Which ever direction you guys choose, let us know how things work out.
Whenever I get around to it, I'll switch to the new Honda MTF..if that doesn't work, then Amsoil.

I'm a happy customer of the New Honda MTF fluid. Make sure you guys get the white cap as those are the '07 bottles. It felt great the first day.... second day I gotta say the smoothness went a little rougher but still smoother then before. All in all I'm very pleased with it and it makes shifting a lot easier. Thumbs up for new honda MTF

Report back in one month...your review will change. I agree GM is good, but wears off VERY quickly, and the feel becomes worse than stock. I switched to amsoil, and couldnt be happier.
I couldn't agree more... as you can see.

You can buy the GM stuff for $20 (for two quarts), or you can buy the generic syncromesh stuff for $12 from autozone or pepboys. As long as you can change your own fluids (not hard at all), it would be worth it to try at least once.
I change the trans fluid every 6000 miles. By the third change I let it go for another 3000 miles and it still felt great. I think that it may work well for one trans but not for another I say find what works for you and were you live.

When I put gm syncromesh in my tranny it made it feel brand new. Also don't buy the stuff from a cadallac dealer, it cost like $10 more per qt.
