Default Glass Window...

I have no idea about the glass window being confirmed or not on the S2K, BUT I do know that the Volvo C70 Convertible comes with a glass window. It doesn't fold in half, but Volvo made it so it fits nicely in the back. So a glass window on the '02 S2K is not an outrageous idea. I've seen the Volvo with my own eyes, and that was confirmation enough for me.

Yeah a Miata has a glass window too. I could see fitting a smaller glass window, but not the current size.

I totally agree, but many people in another forum thread were saying that it was foolish to even think any car could come with a glass window that folded down. I was just trying to prove that it is possible and that we'll just have to wait and see what happens with the '02 stook.

Both Mercedes and Porsche use and have used plastic windows. The 911 Convertible still uses plastic windows.

I'm happy either way.

Well does it really matter, the fun of the car is driving it top down , but as a solution all honda has to do its make the window be from the middle of where its now up, besides the bottom half its useless cause the roll bar behind the seats dont allow us to see through it so if they take middle up and make it glass is a simple solution My 2cents

I am trying to get some written confirmation from my Honda dealer as to whether the 2002 will get the rear window in glass, naive, maybe, but lets see.
BTW, the smaller Miata glass rear window is far better than the larger sized S2k plastic rear window. I guess one thing less to worry about in life.
