You could pick up Modifry's Redline Shift Beeper and have it installed. You could set it up to have a piercing siren go off in the cabin if someone hit 5000 RPM. Problem solved.

If you would have read the whole thread, you would notice that I said the exact same thing.

another option would be defi control link or w/e it's called... it saves a few minutes of the cars running history or something like that.

but to make it easiest... i wish our valet key was actually a valet key and reduced engine redline (which would be appropriate for the valet man to park)... you could also make a point to write down mileage on the back of a business card or something when you drop it off, BUT MAKE SURE THE VALET GUY SEES YOU DO IT or it's pointless.

No effin reason to test drive a car before an alignment that is I would have confronted the little shit the moment he pulled the car back in after his lil romp;demanded my money back and went somewhere else.

Years ago some punk ass kid did a burnout in my CRX at an NTB and I pulled my car out of the service bay and got my money back.

People have no respect for other people's belongings. If I saw some monkey doing clutch drops or a burnout in my car, I would be very upset and the monkey would probably end up losing a few teeth... I'm 6'4" @ 220

Last time I took my S to Honda for maintainence i saw mechanics working on cars and just driving them once around the building for the test drive. When it was my car's turn for a test drive, the mechanic took it on the street for a good 5 minutes.
