Hey guys

ordered a frt lip for my 04 from Jeff - figure it should be here in a few days BUT i have an appointment to have a clear bra installed on Tueday

(forget which type the guy sells) but he said it comes with a 3 year warrantee - question is do they usally install the clear bra over the frt lip or do they remove the lip and install the bra??

I have the same question. From my research it seems you put on the clear bra, then the front lip over it. You seeing any different?

I would think that they could do both. Remove the front lip and install the kit but also cut another piece of material and apply it to the front lip to protect that as well.

Probably depends on how good your installer is.

they just installed a piece of film over the lip and cut the frt one just above the spoiler (overall not to happy with the installer)

That's how they did mine, too. I've already scratched the stuff off the bottom of my lip. Took 2 days.

That's too bad too hear Bass, you might want to see if there is something else the installer will do for you. Maybe ask around and see what other options there are for the install. One person to contact is Dave over at www.speedfilm.net.
