More than $20K? I WISH!!!! Trade in is quite a bit below that. And Carmax offers the same as trade, so I might as well trade for the tax benefits.
I'm getting killed on trade! The only thing that helps is the fact that I save about $1,000 in taxes!
I am selling it for $20,300...and I can't find a freakin' buyer. It's ridiculous. The car is in better condition than almost any other. You've seen it. I keep it clean and well maintained.
I originally wanted $21,500.....which is a fair price. Since I wanted to sell it quick, I lowered it to $20,300 on the forum and $20,500 on Autotrader. It's priced WELL BELOW any other of the same year with similar, less or more mileage.
Yet, no one is interested.
It sucks! If I could just sell it for $20,300, I'd be much better off than trading, even with the savings on taxes!

$18,500.
I've had trade-in offers from several dealerships ranging from $18-19K.
And then they will end up selling it for more than I'm asking!

Hmmmm......starting to debate whether I want the S2K now. I have found a great deal on a brand new 03' EVO for $25,500. Red with sunroof and only 65 miles.
This is less than the red 03' S2k (with 5K miles) that I am thinking of buying.
What do I do?
I love the EVO and the S2K...but I don't know what to do now.
I want them both but can only have one.
Man...I have to make a decision ASAP, as the dealer can only hold the EVO for today if I want it at that price.
Any advice?

The only things that make me hesitant about getting the EVO are:
1) Insurance will be a bit higher than the S2K (about $50 more every six months)
2) Higher maintenance costs and tires!!!
3) Mitsu reliability and quality
4) Lower MPG 18-26 vs S2K's 20-26
HELP!
I love both, I want both, but I can only have one!
Should I get the brand new EVO for a helluva deal? Or the S2K with 5K miles?
Dammit man! I don't know!
