10500 would seem a little high to me, but apparently it's not. Man, xviper still has a way of helping out even after he's gone 9600 RPM doesn't seem like too much in that case. Plus, your car would have slowed down some and the clutch would have most likely slipped a little. I think 9600 is extreme worse case.

I stand corrected. The calculator is indeed close to accurate. The time I thought that the rev-limiter kicks in at 62 was not true, because at that time I was on WOT, and I guess the cluster speedo didn't update fast enough. Just tonight I slowly climbed up to 9k instead of WOT. The redline started blinking at 64, and rev limiter kicked in at 65.
