Before you get folks hopes up, you are talking about over $2500 without installation for probably 15hp peak hp 20lbs of torque. Then add the J's gears and you'd be talking about $3500. Honestly, the more I look at it I should have went with Forced Induction.

Why? Some people want normal aspiration.
Actually, I'm thinking we can make the header optional. People can add the gears on their own as it won't affect the engine management system.
So cams, and the parts to make them work properly is what I'm thinking, including piggyback ECU coded correctly.
Whereas FI affects engine longevity (running boost on an 11.3 compression ratio is just not healthy in the long run), and puts additional stress on engine, drivetrain and cooling components, this power upgrade will affect these components only marginally, and you still retain the overall philosophy of the S2000, only there will be more performance to enjoy.

2k for 20hp NA sounds good to me.
To be honest FI just scares me, so many things can break. I wish there was a hondata for this car, then it would be 2500 for 30hp
20 more hp = 10.8 Power to weight ratio. The new Z is around 11.1 and the Evo is 11.9
I love light cars, a little hp makes a big change.

Add 10% higher gearing, and the power to weight ratio works out to around 9.8! (I know gearing doesn't actually increase HP, but it does make you faster in the real world). I'd bet at least mid 13's maybe even low 13's at englishtown.

I am interested in a NA package, that is to say, I need to see the gains and price. The advantage to NA is that there are less possibilities of breakage due to the fact that you are replacing parts rather then adding them. As turbo_pwr stated, as the price goes up on the NA option, FI becomes a more logical choice. I myself am planning some type of engine work to get some more ponies out of the finicky F20C. Currently, FI is winning the battle.

Yes, gearing is the best mod you can do for this car. However, if my car is used as the development car, I will skip the 4.44 gears until all testing of this package is done, and then add them in at a later time.

Understood.
Toda says you MUST replace all the springs in the engine with their Titanium higher strength springs. So I assume that they will do just fine. As for how LONG they will last I sure hope the life of the car. I will be checking clearances often to make sure everything is cool.
