Default Which gauge T-tap or wire connector should I buy?

I am going to do the "Unlock both doors by pressing the unlock button once on the remote" mod.

From my search on here I know that I have to cut #18 wire and connect it with #7 wire on the keyless module.

My question is I will be connecting the 2 wires using wire tap connectors, do you know the gauge of the 2 wires that I will be connecting?

I want to be sure that I am using the proper sized wire tap connectors to ensure a good connection.

Thanks

I believe you can go with the red ones. they can be used for 18-22awg.
blue goes from 14-18.

they're cheap... use the blue.. if they dont' work switch out with red.

I think the wires are either 18 or 20awg... I soldered my connections.
