I get between 20-25 MPG per tank. I think the most I've ever gotten out of a tank was like 265 miles.

shift at 3k and be gentle on the gas.

Nothing you can do to the car to get much better. No cure for better mpg. The car is rated for 28mpg freeway, 18 city of memory serves me.

I drive it like I stole it and I get 23mpg. That's pretty damn good in my opinion.

I get about 375 km to a full tank also. AP2 with 15k km on the car. I think it's pretty normal for this car.

MPG/KMPG versus MPT/KMPT is the point despite the usage of "miles" in the first reply in the thread. MPT/KMPT isn't very useful for comparisons. A "tank" can vary quite a bit.

Just keep your gas receipt and reset the trip meter at every fillup. Jot down what the trip meter reads before resetting. It's not difficult.

Why are you assuming there's a problem? RPM and VTEC aren't the only variables that matter. If you're doing a lot of city (stop and go) driving your fuel economy will be lower. Driving conditions matter as well. Don't try "fix" what isn't broken.

Exactly, it's pretty useless to compare "miles per tank" because one person may fill up when they see one or two bars left on the fuel gauge and another person may not fill up until the low fuel light has been on for 40 miles. What matters is how many miles you drove divided by how many gallons it took to fill the tank up. To the OP, if your car is running well, you'll just throw away money trying a bunch of different additives. The speed at which you drive (for example, you'll burn more gas going 75mph than you will at 55mph) as well as the type of driving (stop and go, aggressive acceleration, etc.) make the biggest difference. I average between 23-25 mpg on my 05 s2k with about 70% interstate/ 30% city driving.

I get between 220 and 270 miles per tank in my AP2. One thing to keep in mind is that you will get better gas mileage with OEM wheels and tires than you will with larger, heavier wheels and sticky tires. Since upgrading to 18" wheels and sticky tires, my gas mileage dropped a solid 2mpg instantly. I now average 20-21mpg mixed driving.
