Gas Mileage with 4.77 final gear ?
It doesn't have to be 4.77 but I just want to know how much will lowering a
differential gear will affect the gas mileage. Incase of 4.77 it will raise 16% rpm
comparing to 4.1 (stock) at same speed. Since engine will be always revving
those + 16% is that mean gas mileage will decrease 16%? Or, is it not that
simple? I know that how you drive and wind and other things affect it but assuming
everything is always the same.

I have been on numerous distance drives with tenblade2001 (4.77's) and ACLR8 (4.57's) where we have all stopped at the same gas station to fill up and driven the same distances to the next gas station.
tenblade seems to have 2 bars less than me when we are under half a tank and ACLR8 is just a tad less than me.
All three of us have basically the same mods (all Comptech Intakes and dual exhausts), but I do not have gears.
