your car just needs to adjust and correct its consumption, similar to oil consumption of a new car, gas will be draining faster than it will after a few thousand miles, because the motor is still pretty much new, it is working the way it should, all new cars will consume gas and oil quickly because all of the seals and such need to be set and sealed, all of this takes time, my guess is you will notice a much larger change in a thousand miles, if the problem still is there, then try going to Honda, but thats only if the problem doesnt go away after a few thousand miles

My car used to average about 170 on a tank of gas. Now that I have a SC, it averages about 155. I drive a little aggressively, but still thought I would have got better gas milage before the SC.

I'm at 1800 miles, and I don't consider myself a "fuel economy" driver. I'm not always aggressive, but I try to VTEC daily.

I'm getting 23mpg. You can tell when I've been VTEC'ing and when I haven't.

Try shifting at around 3500rpm's or below most of the time and see
and you can still vtec
I vtec everyday and get 24-26mpg and most of the time spend city driving
