Truth be told, I think the GM was looking at a different picture altogether. Sometimes it's about empire building. My ex-wife was a business manager at one of the largest volume Honda dealerships in the country for many years. When one of your departments gets "too big," they make changes. I know more about the inside of the car business than I would like.

Interesting, my gf's father tried to buy a Rio from Ganley a few months ago. It was a demo car - never titled but with a fair amount of miles. They wouldn't budge on price at all. I wonder if that's the same car? And why the heck are they so set on holding on to it?

Jeff is no longer part of Ganley and has not been for some time. I am not sure on the logistics of the Tech day, but I do know that it is happening. Since you will be at the thech day, you might want to ask him.
