What are these Honda dealers thinking??

After going to two different dealers near Atlanta, I still have not been able to test drive a S2000. They turn their noses up and say they need a contract in hand before a test drive, and at that time if I don't enjoy the car they would tear it up. Are they crazy? I could understand it...maybe...if I walked in and looked like I had been sleeping under a bridge, but come on.

When I went to look at Audi's a couple years ago (currently have an 2k A4 1.8T), they threw me the keys and said take it out and try it. They even let me take a TT home one night (and TT's were in great demand then).

Seems like the Honda dealerships have ballooned in the head since the arrival of the S2000. This and the price markups are just plain stupid IMO. I was hoping to see if the S2000 would be a good next car...but they have made me NOT want it even before I could drive one.

check the Local Atlanta Forums and ask the local club guys! They are having a monthly meeting this Saturday. I'm the founder of the original S2000 Atlanta Chapter! i started the club because of the local dealers were ripping people off. I started the club to give information on the S2000 to new buyers and new owners. also check our local club website!
