Default G-Stop p/n: 20111 fit AP2?

According to this page on Goodridge's website, it is only applicable to AP1 models. I have a feeling this is just out of date, but can someone confirm with actual experience?

Also from what I've read many people are happy with Goodridge's product. Any nay-sayers?

WTF are you talking about? How about a clue. Tires? Hoses? Belts? Brake line?

Now, if it was tires, then no. All other would be a yes

I just love how quick people here jump your sh1t when they think you've screwed up. Let me spell it out for you...

GoodRIDGE makes stainless steel brake lines. BF GoodRICH makes tires, belts, and hoses. Does that clear things up any?

Let me go another step: p/n 2011 means "part number 20111". This is something you could search on if I wasn't clear enough to start with. Still not adding up?

Then how about the LINK included in the original post? The top of it says "# of lines". There's another hint. Or you could always delete off the end of the link and look at the mfr's homepage. That would probably spell things out quite clearly, if you still weren't sure.

And just in case anyone's brain cells are still sedated: I'M TALKING ABOUT STAINLESS STEEL BRAKE LINES

You can't tell from that PDF file what they make. And you are the one who's asking for help. Why should anyone here search for you? Not only do you want people to help you, but you want them to scroll down through tiny little print to find one single line pertaining to an S2000?

Man that $20 to join was well spent. I'm immediately greeted by assholes...

Look, Goodridge makes only one product for our car. And they're a fairly well known company (or maybe I just live apart from reality, and am the only one that's heard of them). I felt that my original post was plenty clear, and I still stand by that thinking. Anyone that would have had valuable input to my question (i.e. anyone that owns the Goodridge brake lines) would have known what I was talking about based on my original post. Anyone that wasn't clear could just as easily hit the back button and moved on to another post.

I never expected anyone to scroll down through that list to find one tiny line that pertains to the S2000. That was my reference to Goodridge's statement that the part is only for 00-03 model. I brought it up in the previous post as yet another easy way to reference what I was talking about originally.

My real point here is this: Why be an asshole about it? If I wasn't descriptive enough, then just say so. There's absolutely no reason to be a dick.

to some people's attitudes on this board. It's exactly the reason I left msg boards years ago. Glad to see people still haven't matured, they just drive more expensive cars.

What do you think I did? Let me spell it out for you "What are you talking about?" I even anwsered your question, brakeline= yes.

Let me make this clear, I did not understand what you were asking. You did not spell it out. If you want a clear and consise anwser to any question, clearly post it.

You failed to clearly do that in your first post. You assumed that everyone knew who Goodridge and what G-Stop. You were clearly wrong, and assumed too much. And you wanted help?

Now, to the bad part. You have called what?

Your post was clearly out of bounds. You might want to reconsider.

Great attitude. Thank you

Sorry if I don't take well to verbal bashings, I'll just lower my head and apologize next time.

Rick, you provide some great S2000 products on your website, I've browsed there many times. And xviper, you've been a wealth of information all over this site. I had tremendous respect for both of you... until this incident. I hope you can understand that I don't take well to the agressive attitudes you all have both taken with me over what was really a non-issue. You want to ignore me then great, but IMO that's a pretty immature action at this point.

One final point: my post included both the manufacturer (Goodridge) and the product name (G-stop). If I said "Greddy eManage" would I be assaulted for not specifying it was a piggyback ECU? This is the same situation.

You are still missing the point. I DID NOT UNDERSTAND YOUR QUESTION.

So let me get this straight, You post 1/2 a question, that many, including myself has to research inorder to just understand the question. I asked for clearification. And Your pissed at me?

Now to your anwser. The Honda S2000, MY00-MY05 all take the SAME brake lines.

By the way, my name is Jeff. Rick's handle it "Rick Hesel"

I realize you were asking "What are you talking about?" My main point is there is a difference in attitudes when asking such a question. Yours I felt was very poor, and thus my first reponse.

IMO, Goodridge G-Stop does spell it out, just as my Greddy eManage example above. If you disagree, then OK. We're allowed to have different opinions. But there are respectful and asshole-ish ways of pointing it out. To me, you came across as the latter, as did xviper.

Your post was clearly out of bounds. You might want to reconsider.
As I said above, I generally have great respect for both of you, but in this situation I stand by that comment. Really, we all acted like assholes.
