call earlier to a local locksmith to make a copy of my car keys. he asked " what kind of car?" i said 2005 honda s2000. then he says "ok s2000 what?", "is it a Odyssey, crv?" i laugh so hard inside i said no its a honda s2000. then he says "yeah but what kind of 2000?" lmao... i then told him thats the car s2000! he then quote me 95 dollars to make a key.. i got one at Honda for $45 OTD 10min later.

Honda charges $65 just to cut and program.
The key alone they sell it for like 50bux..

A customer of mine who pops in once in a while came by yesterday. He owns a '12 Mitsubishi Eclipse convertible. He loves his car, which is fine, but he thinks its better than it is. We've talked a couple of times before about cars and he always brags on his car and how fast and good it is, etc etc and knew I had an S2k but doesnt know anything about them. I sold my AP1 and got an Ap2 with a Kraftwerks kit recently.
As he walked by my shop yesterday he pointed at my car and then jokingly motioned that he wanted to drive it making steering motions.
I yelled out to him he wasnt allowed because he couldnt handle it.
He came in and said he could handle it fine because of his car and I said I doubted it (just messing with him).
He says "you want to race?"
I reply "You would lose...badly"
"I dont think so, my car is pretty fast!"

My cars only been on the road for a few days now.. It's converted to right hand drive and i've already gotten multiple "What are you doing? You're on the wrong side!" lol

Same ole thing. "Nice Miata man." My response, " I didn't realize Mazda had an H on the front hood." "It's not a Mazda?" My response, "you obviously don't know your cars." I just walk off. Yes, I'm very confrontational and take it as an insult when a person calls my car a Mazda. I hate Mazda.
