I don't have an S2k. I have a piece of junk 1986 VW Jetta turbo diesel. But I really want an S2k and I'll get one someday. In the mean time, I just admire them and read about them which brings me to my story....one day I was driving down a country road near where I live when I saw a red S2k coming toward me. 
They turned right before I got to them so I turned left and followed at a distance trying not to loose sight of them. (It's amazing how few of these cars I see in person). The car then turned right down a lane that led to a mansion that is now a bed and breakfast. The lane split and he took the path that led to the mansion. Not wanting to freak him out I took the other path that led behind the garage. As I turned and drove behind the garage, much to my chagrin, I pulled into the same parking lot that he was pulling into. He and his lady friend pulled into a spot and looked at me. 
I felt like an ass. So, I wound down the passenger side window and the following converstaion took place:
Me - Sorry to bother you. (laughing) I don't want you to think I'm some sort of stalker. I love your car.
Him - Thanks
Me - I'm going to get one someday
Him - I have no reason to discourage you. It's a lot of fun to drive. I bought this new, have driven it over 70,000 miles and I've never had a single problem with it.
Me - It's beautiful. You take really good care of it.
Him - Thanks
Me - Well, don't want to bother you. Thanks. Have a great day.
He just smiled and waved and I drove off in a cloud of smoke. He was cool. She, on the other hand, seemed relieved that the freak in the Jetta was gone.

I was sitting top down at a light when two girls pulled up next to me, and propositioned me for sex if I pay them a dollar. 
Really wasn't what someone said about my S2K, but I doubt they'd say that if I were driving a Saab 900 or something.

I was like, "really? that's it? I've got one right here!" but could hear what she said because she was turning off the street.
Definitely the weirdest thing to have been said to me in general. I've had people ask about the car, where I found it, if it was really a honda, etc. But never have I been solicited for sex lol
