I have only had the S a few months. Lots staring, most comments are what year is it and wow its really clean ( 08 11k miles). My wife gets the comments, you have a really nice car! The few times she's even behind the wheel. Lol she's just learning to drive MT.

Haven't encountered/received any comments yet about my recently acquired and 1st S2k. But, I did notice milfs always give me the "I want to F you" grin in parking lots.

I was helping my buddy work on his IS300 and my car was parked in the street. Two kids on bikes rode up and the one said, "I thought you said this was a corvette, its a Honda!". Made me laugh at how confused some people can be when they see an S2000.

You have a vivid imagination, no doubt, and no funny comments yet.

I've gotten a couple of those, too, except they weren't grinning, and they were cops, and I think they meant it in a different way.

Actually..I did get a comment. Neighbor said, "wow, you got an S2000?! That thing is a bullet!" Which honestly surprised me he knew exactly what it was, because all the cars in his household for the past 20+ years were Fords (Mustangs and other makes) and domestics. I always thought he was one of those hardcore domestic guys that are ignorant and hateful of anything that wasn't "murica." Nice to hear he liked it though.

Have had people call it a Lamborghini, baby Viper, Ferrari, an older couple called a group of us Miata's, etc.

But I think my favorite was years ago back in Key West when I had my carbon hood & SSR's.
Came out of Wendy's and saw 3 older guys walking around it really taking a look.
As I cross the street one of them notices the badge "Oh, it's just a Honda" and away they went
I don't know why, but ever since then (2007 or so) I've always gotten a kick out of that

Yes, I suppose one could say that is a funny comment. I mean, bullets only go fast in a straight line (unless they impact something, naturally) and the S2000 isn't exactly known for its straight-line performance. So yeah, that's funny he would say that. Doesn't sound like he actually knows what the car's strong suit is at all.

Yeah, maybe not (doesn't know the car's strong suit). But hey, at least it's better than, "Japanese cars suck."

I just got my Suzuka Blue AP1 on Tuesday. I went from the dealership to get gas, and already another customer is asking me about the car. As he bums gas money. About the blue interior: "looks custom"

My neighbor: "S2000, what is it?" Me: "Honda." Him: "Well, it looks like a Porsche to me!"
