That might be because it IS better looking than an '86 911!

Drove mine to my "Barber" today (read that, 20 something, drop-dead beautiful, Brunette "Stylist") and she said my car was "CUTE"! Who ever calls an S CUTE???? Now that, my friend, is Blasphemy! Not sure I'll forgive her but I sure as heck won't stop going to her!

My old apartment, the maintenance guy came up to me and started complementing the car. He asked who makes it and I said Honda. He said: "Wow, so is that like the new 2015 Protege?"

I laughed (assuming he was joking) and he said "Those are neat, I want me a Protege now!"

I was concerned he was serious, so I promptly said: Its actually a 2002 Honda S2000.

I got the miata comment today! lol

I was driving through this twisty road with my friend and he has a white miata. There was some people at the top of the road and one of the guys goes “Oh watch out for that miata”
Then I came up a little behind him in my GPW ap2 and the girl in their group goes “Oh look its 2 miatas!”

I got a front plate ticket the one day that I park my car outside...
He got the make right Honda, but under model he just left it blank.

This happened a week ago. Wife and I went into town for a quick dinner and riding back home, top down ofcourse. Single lane, stuck behind a rav4. Turns into a two lane and i get into the left lane and pass him and while doing so i get to ~5k in 2nd and coast to the red light. As i pass him the guy yells out "its still just a honda".

My wife and I give each other quizzical looks Why yes, it is a honda

I have the Orange Ball S2000 as my desktop background at work.

Today an outside contractor for us came into my office, saw the car and said, "Is that a Mazda?"

I chuckled inside and said, "No, its a Honda"

Funny that I haven't even gotten one yet and I've already seen it confused to a Miata (as a current Miata owner)

I never get tired of this I have received assumptions ranging from Mercedes all the way to Fiat. A lot of people are really shocked when I say it's a Honda.
