Since I live in an area with rich, stupid, people surrounding me, I often get the "nice Bimmer" or "is that a Boxter" comment followed by an astonished look on their faces...

But it is satisfying to see thier faces when the words "No, It's a HONDA!" comes out of my mouth whyle I laugh to myself... Though it is verry flattering...

Oh, ther's also the "Is that a V6?","Oh, that's rear wheel drive?","Is it trubo?"...

It kinda sucks that people don't think that Honda can make a quick, N/A, RWD, Four Cylinder, Sports car...

It's all good cuz I know what I got and I'm cool with it...

Went for ice cream last Sunday night and as we get back in the car this guy on the sidewalk leans in from the passenger side and says,

"I just have to shake your hand." "Beautiful car, I've owned Preludes & stuff but I love your S2000."

Nice to have fans.

Almost 2 weeks ago I was headed to visit friends/fellow s2ki'ers and had just crossed the border into the States. I pulled into a gas station and started to go through a puddle that became deeper and deeper and deeper until, you guessed it, the car stalled out & I couldn't get it to start again. After getting out of the car (water up to my calves ) I went in to the gas station to ask if someone could help push my car out of the way. A guy was like, "That BMW? I can help." I was already in a foul mood and so had no trouble telling him what it really was. He never did help me.

(Fortunately I didn't hydrolock it. Phew!)

[QUOTE=the_DZA,Jun 23 2005, 03:03 AM] I also shake my head at ANYONE who drives an SUV or anything with a V8 engine.

my friend, who is not much of a car guy, says to me "i've never seen a car generate so much emotion" while riding with me. well, being that he's never driven my car (he can't drive a stick), i wasn't sure what he meant so i asked him. he replies "well, everytime i ride in your car, you get revved at, people drive aggressively by you, and people peel out at stoplights next to you."
