With the top up or down, my S always catches attention from kids. I don't think people would have the same reaction if I was driving a MB or a BMW. I guess our cars are pretty rare.

There was couple times, when we were doing a group drive, kids were like screaming and chasing us.

Not a funny comment but makes my head grows 3 times bigger! Keep in mind I just got married and I am 26 years old. Just picked up this car 3 weeks ago.

My wife and I went to the lake to have a walk on sunday afternoon. Coming back to my car and 2 local college girls who came to the lake for a run asked me what kind of car is it and they have been staring at it for a few minutes. They asked if it were a jaguar or something. Told them it was a honda and they are amazed! My wife at the time is pulling my arm to tell me to get in the car. I told her, see if i weren't married, I would have asked them if they want to go ride with me. She says "that's why u are not going anywhere with this car without me." Told this story to my co-workers and they are all very keen to pick one up themselves... and they say they now understand why mid life crisis need to buy them. I told them I have quarter life crisis.

It amazes me that people have to ask what kind of car it is... Look at the freakin hood!! I've never understood this, not just with the S 2000 but any car. Every manufactuer clearly lables their vehicles.

I don't mind, I have meet a lot of Great people while driving my S.

I had a cop tell me he almost forgot to pull me over because he was admiring my car.

While washing the car recently I had 3 people in 10 minutes walk up to me and tell me they liked my car.

I have a neighbor in my apartment complex who is always looking out for me. Last week, I parked my S2000 out in the visitor parking area with the top down, instead of in my garage, and when he saw me get in it, he was like... "OH DAAAAAAMN! Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! You go boy!"

My girlfriend looked over at me and laughed and said, "I bet that just made your day."
