I haven't had the S for very long but, I seem to be getting a lot of "It's soooo cuuute!" from girls. I am still undecided on whether this is a compliment or not. On the outside I'm like "Thanks for the compliment", meanwhile I'm really thinking....."Puppies are cute, babies are cute, my car is NOT cute".
My dad just doesn't understand "why it needs those really wide tires" out back.
He insists that my car isn't really that fast, yet he hasn't broken 4000 rpms while driving it. Yep, you guessed it, he drives a V8 truck and doing 4000rpms in that thing is very close to redline.

not funny but felt good: "best na engine in the world" i then proceded to drive the aquantace around the block and he was in love he told me that his friends boxster -s interior felt cheep

When I had the spa yellow 01 young (too young) girls would say, "I love your car."
Now with a silverstone 04 all I've gotten was a, "I like your new Miata" from a neighbor.

some guy that works for me goes, "it's just a honda, not like it's a porchse or anything." second one is a kid at a stop light (about 16 or so), "nice car mister, too bad it's wasted on a guy your age" i just laughed, i am 44.

i always end up explaining about the name of my car that it is S2000
i often try to put strong accent on S when i say S2000
but it seems like it doesnt really work out that way .........
