my friends make jokes about it (most of them have american cars) they say that i could pick up more guys than girls in it! (not gunna happen). A lot of people talk crap about it "because its a honda". Unforunatly becuase its a Honda everyone undrates the S2000. (until it blows them away)

This is classic. After picking up my new MY04 on Monday I had to take it to my insurance company for them to inspect. Now, this is my insurance agent who says after seeing the car for the first time "it's a convertible"? You didn't tell me it was a convertible. Me; " Yes that's all they come in". Agent; " It looks like a little Corvette" 
Me; It's a HONDA not a Corvette!! Agent; "does it have a back seat"? (top was down). Me; no!
Agent; " aren't those seats"? Me; "no those are the roll hoops" Agent; "well it sure is a beautiful car" Me; yup!!

A homeless guy walks by as I was pulling out of a parking spot infront a restaurant, and says, "I like your fenders. Those are some nice porsche fenders you got on there," and he walked away.

My insurance company started asking me to bring my newly purchased used cars to them so they could take a photo of the condition of the vehicle and also confirm the vin. My brand new cars now go through the same scrutiny, I think, because we have replacement insurance on all of our new cars. If they are totaled in an accident within 1 year of purchase then the total, new vehicle price that I paid will be reimbursed not a depreciated value. It has been this way for the last 10 or 15 years if I remember correctly. It's not that much of an inconveniance.
