Funny things people have said about your s2000

I loved that commercial! You guys get that the reference was to NASCAR, don't you?? You didn't think that was funny? Well, to each his own.
Anyway, Honda did some full 2-page ads this past winter in Road and Track (and, I think Car and Driver), which is the most "populist" I've ever seen them get with regard to advertising the S2000. They haven't had any desire to advertise on TV. I would love to know AHM's strategy for their advertising, but it remains a pretty opaque mystery to me.

the s2000 was also used in a wax ad..i dont remember which one, but it has been in a couple ads in magazines. but it is not a very publicized car.
they know that the crazy ass owners like us will sell the car as soon as someone asks about it therefore why should they pay for advertising when we are paying them to have us advertise! funny how that works. cause as soon as someone asks about the car i go on a rant, or when i am in a dealership im like oh i have that car i love it blah blaah....i need to keep my trap shut, or start selling hondas!

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but there aren't enough hours in the day for me to read all these posts!
During the first Outer Banks Run a few years back, there are about 50-some-odd S2000's rolling off the ferry. Someone gets on the radio to say they just heard someone in the parking lot yell out "I've never seen so many Ferrari's in all my life!"
I got on the radio and stated back: "They STILL haven't!"

Yeah, if I got even a .5% commission on everybody I've turned on to the car, I could probably have 2 of them in my garage right now!
How cool would that be? One for my everyday ride & the other . . . .
