Just yesterday I'd pulled into a SA gas station to fill up, while finishing up a older gentleman walked up and asked who makes the car. Here's how it went-
Him- (after walking around the car) Who makes it?
Me- smiled and said "take your best guess"
Him- hmmm, I wanna say Chrysler
then I hear "but I know it's not" 
Me- still waiting on his guess but then said "it's a Honda"
Him- Really?
Me- Yes sir
Him- (as he's walking back) how big of a motor?
Me- it's a 2 liter
Him- Oh, how fast is it?
Me- Magazine time says 14.1 but I've heard some can get it to 13.9/13.8 at time
Him- Wow, for a 2 liter?
Me- yep
Him- how many horses?
Me- cranks out 240hp, possibly anywhere from 185-200hp to the wheels
Him- how do they do that? How do they push out 240 crank hp from a 2 liter?
Me- ask Honda
Him- smiles and said "never seen one before" then walks away
Probably thought I was lying
...

about 12 s2k's including me were going on an Angeles Highway Cruise starting at Midnight to enjoy the full moon. Upon passing an abandoned Accord smashed into the side of the mountain, we stopped and got out to survey the situation and see if anybody was hurt etc. While we wait for the cops we break out hot tea that I brought, cookies, pie, and cake. Well the cops eventually show up and we tell them what happened. As we're about to leave one of the cops asks
Cop: "You guys aren't doing any racing up here are you?"
Me: "Would we have cookies and tea and cake if we were?"
Cop laughs and asks us "What are you guys doing then?"
Me: "Just enjoying the full moon with our car club"
Cop: "Alright be safe now"

Going through the drive through at Fazolies. Girl opens the window, stares for a moment, gives me my total, then as the window is closing I hear her telling all her coworkers to come and look at this awesome car.

Okay, I met a girl at my school who was asking my what kind of car was on my Myspace. I told her to take a try at guessing, and a reallllyyy hot asian chick (senior) came up behind her and said S2000. Was talking to her later that day during a fire drill and asked how she knew and apparently one of her good friends is on my myspace and she love the car (debadged) and she wants me to go to HIN with her She has a 2005 SLK. She had a Z3 and showed it in philly when NOPI was here last year! I think im in love!!
