i don't understand the "trade in your convertible if you dont put the top down" comments. like just the other day the sun was BEAMING down on me at a stoplight and it was extremely hot. so i put up the top and i air-conditioned the rest of the way home. whats the problem? sometimes it gets hot!! if you always have the top down, might as well yank out your a.c right?! no but seriously; sometimes it calls for a top-up occasion.

Infact some of us attempt to yank out the top too... then we realize the other futility of attempting to do so, as it is so well buried into the car.

I think that the purpose of getting some of the Benzes was not for the convertible top, but for the roadster platform.

That's why I got mine, not because I wanted the top down, but because I wanted an FR platform with 50/50 (49/51 ) balance and good power with a wide wheelbase. Not so that I could drop the top everywhere I go.

saw a cute girl driving a convertible 350z at a stop light near work today. we both had our top down.

-she asked how i like driving with the topdown
-responded with the classic line, "i like my car like my women - topless..."

Not me I ripped it outta there . I only have the Hardtop and love it (though its def not a mod for everyone).

Honostly I wish Honda would have made a coupe version (or fixed roof version) of the S2K, if they did that would have been the one I puchased. I bought this car for its handling abilities not for the vert feature
