when i first got my car, i was talking to a PhD student who was one of my TA's. he always wore one of the 3 corvette leather jackets (in the 3 different colors that matched his 3 vettes). so i tell him i got a honda S2000, and he, being a knowledgable car enthusiast who used to track his vettes, asked: "ahhh, one of THOOOOSE cars...what do you do with those cars anyway?? do you go out and 'DRIFT'? Is that what you do?"
haha i giggle inside as i had expected something funny from a hardcore vette owner, and then i finally answered "yeah, i guess that's what you would do with THOSE cars."

oh i remember another one. i took this girl out for the first time...
cruising top down on a pretty big street with little traffic,
girl: what kinda car is this?
me: it's a honda
girl: ohh!! i have a honda! (she has a 98 accord)
me: yup, just like yours :-)
i was in first gear at around 3.5k, and i just floored it and vtec'ed through 2nd
girl: (really excited) wow, my honda doesn't do that!!
