I was at the car show that I go to almost every Saturday and this 16-18yr old kid in a Del Sol sees my S2000 and backs up right next to it. Gets out of the car and kinda keeps glancing over at my car while I am in my chair sitting behind it.
As he pops his trunk and I see that his "T-Top" has a seperate compartment specially made for his top. Then beneath trunk space. So I say.....
EOE: "Hey man that is really neat design, I didn't know they came that way. Very convenient"
DelSol Kid: "Yeah man that's what I hate about Your S2000, it's soft top, it folds back, it's heavy, and If you have hardtop you can't take it off @ any time."
EOE: "Umm ok anyways, nice car dude"
DelSol Kid: "Yeah I was going to buy the S2000 and then desided the DelSol was a better choice and anyways your car is designed based on mine, it's DelSol body."
Some One Walking By: "CAUGH DEL SLOW" Then looks at me, comes up to me and says "Nice S2000 dude." Keeps talking to me for next 15 Minutes, The DelSol kid just stops talking
EOE: Thx man!

So its a pretty average morning weather-wise.
After having the top down, rolled out of the super-market on the way home with the roof up.
As I'm sitting at a set of traffic lights, with the drivers window down an older dude standing on the centre median strip is watching me.
He then asks "Is that a convertible?"
Was a little shocked!

"how did you make your del sol lose its t top.. amazing what year is that.. did you change the exterior and interior..how much" bunch of asian kids. in the end i just drive off saying yea its one of a kind.

My first big car compliment 
and its been a year and a half!
A older lady in a station wagon pulled beside me on the way to work this morning and honked to get my attention, then she asked do you like your car? would you buy it again? At this point I thought I did something wrong like cut her off maybe? Then she said she loved the way it sounded and thought it was beautiful! and that she was also looking to buy one! So i told her about S2ki and said I would help with her search in finding an S.
What a great way to start off the morning!
