Funny...I was just going to bump this thread myself tonight.
Was running around after work yesterday and pulled up to a light. There were a couple of kids in an old beater accord in the lane next to me.
The kid in the back seat opens the door (couldnt roll down the window??) and yells over "I wanna see what an S2000 can do when it's ON it!"
I smiled and gave in a 1-2 VTEC dusting up to the speed limit and went on my merry way.

When I first test drove the S2000, I had my girlfriend with me in the passenger seat. Right when she saw the car she said she loved it. This was without a ride in it. So we get inside to get a look at the interior and at this point she is really loving it. So then it's time for a test drive. I pull the car out of the driveway and onto the street. Her reaction from the suspension can be summed up with her saying "You have to get it!" I started driving it down the street and it was just casual driving, no v-tec engagement yet. She continued telling me that I have to get it and that it's such a nice car. I told her "Hang on a second. Let me show you something..." At the end of the street I made a U-turn to drive back from where we came. I then wound the car through first gear... WOT to the tune of 9000 rpm. I shifted into second for a short bit and then I eased off the throttle. I look over to her and she had this expression on her face: She said "I think I just came."

4 teeny bopper girls in a Lincoln LS were next to me at a stop light tonight, they rolled down the back window and screamed, in complete screachy unison "OH MY GOSH, WE LOVE YOUR CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I, of course acted like an idiot, and waved back emphatically, acting as if I cared.

Oh- I was on the highway during our little mini-meet tonight, and an old guy in a beat-to-death pickup truck just stuck his hand out the window with a 'thumbs up' pose. He didnt even look over, just smiling and giving a thumbs up.

* For reference my S2000 is completely stock. *
In a drivethrough window, my eyebrows are about level with the top of the counter. Window opens, McGirl says in a McDrone:
"Here is your ... WHOA!!! That is the smallest car EVER! COOL!"
I smiled and reached up for my food. She smiled back with a wide-eyed open-mouthed look of elation. My wife LOLed in the passenger seat. The McGirl stuck her head out the window as we drove away to get a better look.
