took my friend in a ride the other day... he just boosted his lude 01 sh ...anyways he comes over and asks for a ride in the "s" cuz he has never been in one... so i get the keys ...we get in, i drop the top and we go for a cruz... i let her warm up to 3 bars and i wot slap 9k 1st -3rd . i look over at him as we park and the throws he keys out the window!!! and says "i just wasted SO much money" lol!!

Mine is debadged, so I didnt say what it was when people asked me... My answer, "Guess." 
I've gotten the miata, BMW, and a boxster. When I was washing it one day at the bottom of my driveway, this cool old man in my old neighborhood asked what it was... I usualy dont tell people unless I know them. I dont know about you guys, but I love the car but not so much the Honda part. When I think of Honda, besides the S2000 and NSX, I think of family, MPG, and saftey. Not amazing sports car. So I just say an S2000 or S. My little cousin thought it was a BMW, because my dad had a 325i convertible.
I hate that comment too.

july 4 bbq at my friend's house. his neice tries to convince me that the S is a miata. she didnt know that i was the owner.
july 3rd at my cousin's house. my lil 5yr old cousin walks out to the car with me as i go to close the top in case it rains while i was in the house.
as the top closes, her jaw drops and her eyes tuns to glass marbles.
she now refers to it as a transformer.

I called my insurance company before i got the car and i didnt have the VIN because i didnt get the car yet. When i told him it was a Honda S2000 he asked me a couple times that i said that. He then asked me if it was the truck 
.
When calling the stealership about the car, he so happily told me (as if it was his selling point) that the car i was inquiring about had a 6 speed and a covertible top.
