The S2000 is no more effective at this than any number of other cars, but the S2000 is the first car I've ever owned where women actually TOLD me when it happened.

I have met very few women that did not respond to a really fast ride, even if that ride was in something like an 850 Spider or 948 Sprite. It's not what you have, but rather what you do with it, that makes it happen.

Some girls don't even need to ride in the car. For some, just touching it seems to be enough (see below).

Not in an s2000, but earlier today I was with my dad in his 69 Camaro and a guy holding a sign saying he was homeless walked up to the car when we were at a light. He said it was a nice car and asked if he could borrow it for a few minutes to get a beer.

The +1 and I were up in the North Carolina mountains today, and we made a stop for some ice cream. Guy asks me, " What kind of Honda is that?" I'm thinking, "cool dude" he saw it was a Honda!

Then the letdown . . .

Him: 6-cylinder, right?

Me: No 4-cylinder - 240 hp

Him: Oh, thought they all had a six

A few weeks ago I was at a gas station and a soccer mom pulling up in her SUV says "Hey that's a cute car.". I smiled back and said "Thanks". Then I looked away knowing she's filling up her 20 gallon gas guzzler.

I got in trouble a few weeks back...

I went to a bbq party and pulled up in the S... a little kid about 4-5 years old came up to me and yelled : "my uncle has a boxter too!!"
me : "this isn't a boxter my little friend"
kid : "but it has no roof"
me : "that's true, but it's a different car"
kid : "what different then?" (the poor kid didn't understand)
me : "well, this car is cheaper, cooler AND faster then a boxter"
my mate started laughing (he was with me in the car)
the kid ran off to his family and I heard him yelling to his uncle : "that car is cooler and faster then your boxter he says" pointing at me...

I was like "hehe!" and "wtf?" at the same time...
but I survived the party he had a cool uncle... hehe!

Cool

Today was extremely hot outside. I had the top down and I was in the DMV parking lot, looking for a parking space. The lot was full so I was at the exit of the parking lot, half way on the sidewalk. A full-sized van was pulling in slowly so I decided to wait until he entered the lot so I'd have room to exit. When he was entering the lot he got right next to me and was checking out the S. He mouthed "Wow" and gave me a .

Huh? Why?

It could've been a lot worse. She could've given you the Miata comment.
