I guess I now think of anyone under 40 as being a "kid."

Me too. I have a 19 year old son. Hey Red, how many years have you been driving? I've been driving 40 years now (almost twice as many years as civicson is old).

Don't blink or you'll miss 30 as it goes flashing by.

I think I was twelve or thirteen when I learned to drive, so that's over 45 years ago. Got my learners permit over 40 years ago. LOL, I sure don't feel that old.

Wow...... i just got put in my place lol! My biggest issue with the s2k is the looks i get from other people while im driving it. People automatically assume im rich, or my parents bought it for me, or its my dads car, when in reality ive saved up for it for the past 2 years. I worked my ass off in iraq(5-month deployment, but i have nothing but respect for those army guys and their families with those 1 year + deployments) and then, 3 months later, spent 2 months in lebanon. Both of those times i volunteered to go... But yeah, like i was saying, the looks and comments i get are absolutely mind boggling. I mean, my commander(Lieutenant Colonel) drives a rusted out jeep cherokee and an old accord. I get comments like "How can you afford that on an e-4's pay?" or "how much drugs did you have to sell to pay for that car?" I dont get it....
