Gotta new one. I was out and about yesterday. Very nice and sunny out so I had the top down. I just happened to be wearing my Ferrari F1 hat. A lady pulls up in a SC 430 and asks me if my car was a Ferrari! I answered "No, its a Honda" to which she replies, "I dont know much about cars, you don't need to be a jerk about it" I say "no really it is a Honda!" to which she apologizes and proceeds to tell me its "cute"

I don't know whether to take that whole situation as a compliment or not!

That would be a compliment. Now, if a dude had to ask what it was and called it cute.........well, that's when you worry.

I had a guy in a mid 80's Honda pull up next to me at a stoplight and ask me 5 different ways why I had Honda badges on a car that clearly "wasn't a Honda" - once I got fed up and turned my music up (top down) he then proceeded to "give in" and finally "believe" it was a Honda (which he said using air quotes with his fingers) and tell me not to ever sell it as his had like 260+ and was still running strong. I just gave him a thumbs up, said thanks for the advice and sped off at this point (light turned green and we were the 1st in line).

Not too terribly funny, but the first "stoplight conversation" I've ever had.

Even though it wasnt in my S, I just got the most hilarious flirt ever yesterday and have to share.

I was on my motorcycle at a red light and I hear a "Hey!". I glanced to the side to see a little girl (about 2 years old or so) wave at me from her car-seat. I waved back and then looked forward again while she kept yelling "Hey!" at me.

Light turned green and I take off, the other car does too and the lady driving starts to pass me up and as they go by, the girl was blowing me kisses!

So cute, so funny

This may sound unbelievable, but about a month ago I was at Radio Shack. When I came back to my car, and old Ford pickup was parked on the passenger's side. As I got into my Spa (top already down) this 50-something slightly-overweight farmer type gets out of the truck, looks at the car, and then serious-as-a-heart-attack says, "cute car." I double take to see if he's giving me lip, but he looks as stone as Moab. I tentatively say thanks, but it felt kinda creepy coming from a guy...especially a guy that looked like that.

There is a local guy who drives a Subaru Legacy GT wagon. It's on lowered springs and OZ wheels w/nero zeros. He states...." I know I can take you in the corners but you'd beat me on the straights"....

Huh?

I pulled up to a stoplight this morning and enganged in this conversation.

Him: "Hey, how do you like that car? I really love the look of it"!

Me: "I've loved every bit of it for the two years I've owned it".

Him: "Man, I haven't seen the convertable model before, it looks really good"!

Me: (long pause) "Yeahhh...." (turn and drive off with a puzzled look on my face)

He must have thought it was an RX8 or something.
