i remembered the other comments i've gotten...
one of my co-workers saw me driving to work after a lunch break, and after we both arrived at work, he said he thought it was some "stinkin'" lawyer's car.
another co-worker thought it was a doctor's car...

LOL, same thing happened to me when I was about his age, but in my case I was sitting in a Shelby 427 Cobra and the owner handed me the keys. Only differens is, I shook it off and drove the darn car.
On a side note, Red MX5, the S15 on your CCR site is HOT! Definitely my favorite of the group.

haha I do not know Tripper but I know Dennis who sold the car to him. Looks like Tripper did not change the wheels. Since you know him well and know what his car contains nowadays, here is a picture from the past.

Tripper is a card, and one of the nicest people I know. After our little race he swore that his clutch was slipping, and instructed our chief mechanic to replace it, but two days later the clutch got all better and wasn't replaced for nearly a year (and then only because Tripper wanted an upgrade). I think Tripper probably choked when I got an early lead and didn't get his foot all the way off the clutch after his shift, but it was hilarious to see the R33 get walked by an S2000, and I'm not about to give him a rematch. It's too much fun ribbing him about my humble S being a Skyline killer.
