My friends and I were going over to my place and took one of them in my car. She wanted to ride in my car and see how fast it goes. My car is boosted so at the stop light ask her if she was ready.

She replies, "yeah."

I said, "no, are you ready?"

She says, "yeah lets go!"

I say, "ok..."

I Punch it and go.... I peek over to see her reaction, and automatically i see a huge grin and the right arm grabbing on to the handle and hair flowing in the air, since we were top down.

She says, "Woah! Its like space mountain! (The disneyland ride)

Speaking of first time experiences, when I first got mine, I left the dealer with the top down. When I got to this restaurant, I flicked the roof switch and nothing happened. I called up my salesman.

Me: "yo man, how do u put the top up? I flipped the switch and nothing happened"

Him: "did to flip the roof button?"

Me: "...yeah, that's what I just said"

Him: "oh...um...are stopped?"

Me: "yeah"

Him: "uh...let me put you on hold real fast"

I went to my trunk to look at the manual and hung up.

not only that but the first time I test drove one, i took it out for a cruise without the sales guy and I pulled into my friends driveway but didn't know how to put it in reverse!! So luckily there were guys at her house that helped pushed the car back onto the road!! now THAT was embarrassing!

Same thing happened to me. We picked up the car with a half tank of gas and them promptly ran most of it out of the tank. Stopped at a busy gas station to fill her up, and couldn't figure out how to put gas in the darn car. My wife is trying to find some help in the owners manual, and I'm trying frantically to find a release lever somewhere, and while this is going on people keep walking or driving up and asking me questions about the car. You know, the usual stuff like, what is it and is it a new model and such. At the time it wasn't funny in the least, but in hindsight it cracks me up.
