At a recent AutoX, before we started running:
Me: You know, I think I may have to do this whole course in 1st gear.
Friend: Yeah, you may have to
(we talked about where I have to shift, if I'd have to at all)
Friend's friend (who's not familiar with the S2000) looked incredulous - I don't remember if he said anything.
Friend: Where does your second lobe kick in, pretty late right?
Me: Yeah at around 6000rpm
Friend's friend: 6000rpm??? Where does it red line?
Me: 9000rpm
Friend's friend: Well then I guess you *may* be able to run the whole course in 1st gear...

Went to the Whataburger drive-thru down in Texas and the young male said "Nice car, Zoom-Zoom!" I replied, "It's a Honda." Looking dumbfounded, he simply replied "Oh." lol

dont u guys wish more people watched fast and furious so instead of calling it a mazda or miata or zoom zoom they can atlest call it a honda two thousand
