Roommate and I were cruising around last night (had to pick up some CD-RW's), pulled up to a brand new Mustang GT Convertible w/ 4 people late teens, early 20's... Thinking: This is going to be fun... Guy looks over, smiles, "dude, I've been there, not going to touch that" -

Damn, why is it always Wendy's drive-throughs? The last guy was bragging about his 600hp RWD CRX. And the SoB still forgot to hold the damn tomato on my big bacon classic.

I was stopped at a red light in the left turn lane and my top was down. A hobo was walking along the center insland and stopped at my car and said:
"that's a nice sports car you have there. don't go driving too fast or else you'll find those cars with the chrismas lights on top (police cars)following you. "
me: "err..thanks" handed him a buck and took off when the light changed.

There is a church with a preschool only a few houses down from my house on the same street. Whenever I am outside washing my car when the kids + moms are walking around, all the kids go nuts over the car. A few have asked me what kind of race car it is. Some just stare, some say "hey mom why can't you be cool and buy me that convertiable"

At a local muffler shop last weekend:
"...yeah thats a nice car...they put v6s in them over in Japan....you must have customized a dual V6 exhaust onto the 4 cyl engine"
needless to say, i peeled rubber away from that place!!!!
