I got a loud "Whooo!!" from a cute blond as I drove by her yesterday. Too bad she looked to be about 8 years old.
I was at a drive thru window this week and when I pulled up the kid was like "Whoa, that is a nice car"

Time to teach her a few things. Does she know where her secret compartment is?!?!?!?!?!
Do you mean the non-existent glove compartment in front of where the passenger's knees would be, or do you mean the back door? Or have I forgotten one?!

There may be one you don't know about.

Me: ...and how was your day sir? *light turns green...leave*

While stuck at a light these 2 women pass by and one is STARTING at the front end and looks in the car..I wave and she waves back. I fell in love. I miss her and need to find out who she is!!

i was at my friends house, we were sitting outside when a couple of middle aged ladies and 1 super drunk polak were walking to their house and the ladies say: you have a very nice car and i said thank you, then the drunk polak says, it's not that nice as he pushed his old bike up the stairs almost falling over

That's classic!
I had a similar thing happen to me at a stop light. I was sitting there when this Boxter S pulls up and gives me the "only a Honda" rolling eyes look. A few seconds later, a bunch of people crossed the street in front of us - ever single one of them glanced at the Boxter and then starred and pointed at the S with their mouths open. Boxter owner wasn't impressed.

FWIW, having driven the Boxster and the S2000, I'd say the S2000 is a better car to drive, on track and for everyday use. It revs high like a rotary, just without the problems

A few days ago, when this very little Honda S2000 has been out as a mass production vehicle for 7 years -- SEVEN YEARS -- a family of 5 in broad day light was guessing what car it was. This happened during the whole time when I was standing at the red light waiting. My top was up. Thanks to poor sound proofing from the soft top, I heard everything that they said.
Nothing new from what people have said here -- they thought it's a BMW, Porsche, etc.
What amazes me is that this car has been out for so long already, and it's not like it's some crazy super limited production car like Zonda or Enzo, yet people still don't know what this is. FYI, I live in New York, there are a dime and a dozen of much nicer cars (nicer cars being more expensive and exclusive cars).
I always thought the S2000 looks a little dated, but maybe I'm wrong, since it still attracts a lot of attention when I drive. Pedestrians would point at the car and look at it; sometimes even purposely walk closer to it to check it out. I've parked my bone stock S on the side of the streets before, and people would look inside the car and then say "Oh ... It REALLY is a Honda. Even the steering wheel has an H!"
