Onlooker: What kind of car is that?
Me: s2000
Onlooker: It was made in 2000?
Me: No it's a 2001 S2000.
Onlooker: Oh, who makes it?
Me: Honda
Onlooker: They make a convertible?(not paying any attention to the Badges)
Me: Yeah they have been making this car in the states since the year 2000 and now the 04's have the most significant changes.
Onlooker: Wow I have never seen one of these(walks around the car).

Me: s2000

I find people aren't impressed till I mention the horsepower and the red line. Showing the engine helps too.

I was on a group drive about a year ago and we had about -21- S2000's driving through Clearwater Beach. We obviously got a lot of looks as we drove through slowly and I heard a girl say , "Hey look they're all the same year!" She was pointing to the S2000 badges on the sides. It was pretty funny to all of us in the group.

Okay, I just gotta tell this, but you younger guys may not get it.
Guy comes out of a K-Mart and sees a guy looking all over his vintage sports car. It appeared he was looking for some sort of identification.
