Come to think of it, one of the comments I like hearing most is when some attractive young lady says ....
"When are you going to take me for a ride?"
I may not be in the market, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the attention.

A few months ago, I went into Discount Tire to price some snow tires (ended up buying from Tire Rack). While I was up at the counter talking to the salesman, one of the service guys came in from the back. He didn't seem to know which car was mine and he said to the guy who was helping me, "We're all fighting over who gets to work on the S2000."
A few days ago I was driving back from a meeting on the other side of town and my boss was in the car. We passed a Miata going the other direction and she asked, "Is that the same kind of car as yours?"
I said, "No. That's a Miata. Mine's an S2000"
She said, "What's the differenece?"
My response was, "Well, I've got about 100 horsepower on him, and he's got about $5,000 on me."

once a Boxter owner asked me : "how big is your engine?"
me : "oh, it's a small 2000cc"
Boxter : "ha! I have a 2500cc"
me : "really? what's your horsepower then?"
Boxter : "ha! The full 220hp man.... how much does your Honda have, around 180?"
me : "ooh, a small 240hp"
Boxter : "what? out of a 2000cc?"
me : "yeah, and even for your 500cc extra, they even couldn't make your car faster then mine..."
Boxter : "ooh..."
