[QUOTE=ZeroPsi,Jan 3 2006, 08:02 PM] By far the funniest for me was a few weeks after getting my car I was driving down my street with the top down and some kid on a bicycle yells "Thanks MTV for pimpin' my ride" and gave me a thumbs up

I was doing some shopping at the Dyess AFB commissary this afternoon. All of the baggers are retired military. As I was getting into my car this elderly bag-boy asked me "Is that a Honda?" I said "Yes a S2000". He replied "Nice car, much better than the Miata." I had to agree.

I took my car in to the detailing shop yesterday, and another customer saw it and "Is that a Porsche?". When I informed him that it was a Honda, he got all . Evidently he had never heard of one or seen one???? I know its a sweet car and all, but c'mon, it's still a Honda.

Recently my brother remarked, "It looks angry when it's not in motion."

I had a REAL weird experiance today. I was driving on the highway and all of a sudden I hear this car honking over and over. My first reaction was to slow down and look around my surroundings and see if something was wrong. I was going maybe 5-10 mph over the speed limit, but by no means is that "speeding" in south florida so I knew she was not honking b/c i was speeding. I then started looking in my mirrors to see if my gas door was open or the trunk popped open or something. Finally I got side by side with the car that was honking (obviously at me as there was very few cars on the road) and I look over and its a mom with two kids who are bounding on the seats smiling at me and giving me the thumbs up. I finally made eye contact with the mom driving and she was smiling and mouthed something, I'm assuming it was "nice car" but I was on the highway and wasn't going to stare at this woman's lips. After I reallized it was a compliment I just smiled back at the kids. It was still a strange experiance. The woman literally banged on the horn several times in a row. I thought my rear bumper fell off or sometheing, lol.

As I parked in a local Publix to use the ATM I parked next to handicapped parking space where an old couple was getting on their mini van and the old man said "Great timing, a Porsche just left." I don't know what he meant by that by I suppose he thought my car was a Porsche. I wish.
