Default Fujitsubo v.s. T1R Sparrow Dual

really like the Fuji, but starting to fall in love with the tip on the T1R dual....I would not be running a test pipe so that may keep things quiet.....what about gains and weight saving?? alos will they both fit on the AP2 exhaust hangers...I know the Fuji will fit both AP1 and AP2 but not sure about T1R....which one is better....and of course it'll come down to where i can get an exhaust the cheapest...they're both about the same price, but where's the best place to buy the T1R Sparrow Dual??

thanks in advance and please don't hesitate to share pics...

The fuji will be cheaper and its very quiet. Ive heard it sounds alot like a mugen if you run a testpipe with it. As for the t1r sparrow I havent heard it in person but from what everyone says its a nice quiet exhaust as well.

Sparrow is more expensive, lighter, louder, and more bling. All in all a great aftermarket exhaust for the S. Fitment on my AP2 was great. They recc. using AP1 rubber hangers on the cans, but I used the old AP2 rear grommets without any problems. You might find a used one or can get them from AJ racing in Canada (the importer).

I liked the Fuji at first, but when I heard it I highly disliked it. It sounds very similar to stock...and what's the point of spending money on it then? Go with the T1R...it's more expensive but it's better in every way. Plus it actually shows some gains.

I just don't think that either look right on the AP2 rear. The tips are to small for the AP2 exhaust cut outs.

BUT.....both are very nice exhausts

Oh, and to answer your question.....AJ-Racing is the best place to buy T1R. Also, check the group buy forum, as they have Christmas specials on select T1R exhausts right now.

If my Invidia ever becomes too much to live with, I'm going with the sparrow

It's a newer exhaust -- on the Group Buy thread AJ-R has some sound clips of the Sparrow and the Sparrow 70mm.

I would go with the Sparrow b/c it shows gains but still has a sweet tone, whereas the Fuji has a sweet tone and shows little to no gains.
