Fujitsubo Legalis R
I was wondering how loud the fujitsubo legalis R exhaust is after it's break-in period ... I was looking to pick one up tomorrow but I don't wanna get it and get depressed over the exhaust note. I would want something louder than a HKS Hi-power but quieter than a amuse/invidia exhaust. I was thinking the fujitsubo might be in between. I saw all the exhaust videos on youtube, and around the forum, but it's hard to hear how it really sounds, and I thought I could get some feedback from people who actually heard it in real life to make it easier, compare it to a HKS hi-power/Invidia since I've heard those two exhausts.

i have this exhaust. i would let you hear mine but i'm in davis at the moment. i think you will be disappointed if you want something louder than the hks. i would have to say, it sounds almost like stock. just a bit louder, and a bit more grumble.

The fuji is a really good sounding exhaust. Below vtec it is very quiet so you wont get too much attention for the police on streets. When you get on it, it has a really good tone especially in vtec. You will not be dissappointed with it.

While it's a great sounding, high quality item, to answer the OP - is NOT loud, and is very unlikely anyone would think it is louder than an HKS. It may not be what you are looking for.
It is very deep, especially when cold, and has a nice balanced tone. At VTEC it complements the engine without overpowering it. Very balanced. There is zero drone at any speed.
About the only negative I can think of is that the HKS has a bit more of a throaty "snarl" that you just don't get with the Fuji.
