You know, I just realized that half the fun of having new people come on the forums is giving them a hard time when they get here
Yeah, but every once in a while, we get one that has the sense of humour of a sack of turnips and a skin as thick as grape. They think we should all stand at attention when they come through the door and sweep the ground before they walk on it. They can't take criticism, serious or otherwise and then immediately put on their defensive, grumpy face. They won't have to worry about putting others on their "IGNORE" list. They've been put on the IGNORE list of others. Those are the people who short change themselves because it may turn out that the ones that they got pissy with could turn out to be the one who possess that "life saving" piece of information they will ask in the future.

Can we already see how this one turns out? Maybe I'll be the second "Cannuck" to be on his IGNORE list. It doesn't matter to me and I'm sure it's breaking Emil's heart too. Emil provides a lot information to people. Me? I don't know nothing about anything.

I hate to quote myself but read my previous post...

Ribbing the new guy is 1 thing but being a complete douche about a simple question is totally uncalled for

jokes are all good and well -- i can take a joke (see posts 2 and 3) but being mean spirited and nasty is uncalled for. Having good information doesn't put you above everyone else. Just b/c you provide good info doesn't grant you a free pass to act like a jackass!

And I now quote you:

No worries. I did the same thing to the newbs on the BMW forum so I know it's all in good fun.
This is the internet. What constitutes being a jackass to some may be nothing close to it to others. That's why you need to have a thick skin. So, how many times were you construed as being a jackass on the BMW forum?
