So here's a question to people with the front under spoilers (especially if it was added after driving around without one):

After installing the front under spoiler, do you find yourself scraping the bottom a lot on speedbumps or ramps?
or is it pretty much like driving without one? It would seem like adding it would drop the front clearance a few extra inches. Just wondering

flayer-

my s2k did not have the chin spoiler for the first week or so that i owned it (they were on back order from Honda). it is no worse going over bumps with the honda chin spoiler attached. having said that i am very careful going over any bumps.

the two pieces of black plastic that hang down from the front of the car in front of each tire have caught on the driveway of my house in the past. i can eliminate the hassle by taking the driveway at a slight angle.

hope this helps.

yes
you end up scraping curbs when parking and speed bumps if too steep

Just got my Stook last week. I only have 100 miles on the car, but I have not hit anything yet. I was surprised to look at my car when I parked it in a lot the other day and found that the spoiler just went over the side walk in front of the parking spot. I thought for sure that I would have it, but it cleared it. GaToR

The Honda front spoiler only lowers the car's clearance by 1/2 an inch. I'm just careful going over bumps, and I'm ok.

I had the front spoiler for 2 days now and have not hit anything (fingers crossed - knock on wood). I think the S2K clearance is higher than the ITR clearance. With extra care, you will be able to clear almost anything. One simple rule to follow: If you have doubts or bad feeling, don't force it.
