i've been looking around for a good front sway bar
and i come arross the
Competition Front Adjustable Swaybar which is quite $$ but i heard their quite good.
and if i plan on getting this one anyone got a place where i can get it cheaper?

any other recommendations?

use for .. daily driving,autoX,track.

Comptech front adjustable for me. Had if for 4 1/2 years with no problems. Buy the best and you won't regret it.

Sometimes they come up used on eBay, but rarely.

 

The Comptech adjustables best feature is that it replaces the pressed OEM holddown clamps with 2 huge billet holddowns which allow you to fit the beefy adjustable bar with proper clearance

I think it is the only one to do this holddown replacement.

 

I got a Comptech from my best friend for free when he turned in his leased S2k. It changed the whole car and im set in the mid rate of adjustment. I will experiement with the other settings next auto X season. I cant comment on the other bars though.

If you go into the Racing subform, there's a sticky at the top for a huge post with a bunch of info titled something like "what you need to start auto-x'ing" -- anyway, in there they have some info on three adjustable front sway bars if you're after an adjustable one. I have heard things about some of the non-adjustable sway bars as well, namely Swift and Beatrush.

 

Just replace your rear to the 25.4mm. My time attack results has proven the setup works

 

Be ready for some oversteer with a bigger rear sway bar.

 

yea i also need to take out my tower bar to go back down to A stock for autoX, unless i have crazy mods to hold me in BSP, so i wont need to take stuff off for autoX and put more in for track

wont the 25.4 rear sway bar give me too much oversteer? in agressive turning in autoX? your track set up i'm also interested but won't i need to get alot more suspension set up than just bars?

 

Would sway bars make the ride more rough for DD?

What are some pros and cons? I'd like to pick up a few Cusco parts.
