My 04 just arrived. I had a Coastal Metals front lip protector on my 02. Does anyone know of a protector for the 04? They dont seem to have one for the 04.

 

i've always wondered this, but never looked around for it... are lip protectors another piece that botls up to the lip, or is it some kind of thin applicant(sp) ?

 

I inquired with them a few weeks ago and they said they were working on it...

I'm also interested in this as I'm bound to do something stupid to my nose if I don't and these look pretty good. How heavy are they though? It seems like to offer any real protection it would have to be a pretty hefty chunk up there which isn't great.

And does anybody have any better installed pictures than what's on their webpage?

 

I just called Coastal. They will have the 04 lip protector done by the end of this month.

i had better warn you, i had one on my 02 and it doesnt look pretty. however, it really saved my front end. it is worth it.

 

Oh really? See, this is why I was wondering if there were any better pictures. On their site it looks pretty sweet. What don't you like about it?

Maybe I should just get the lip, not the splitter that protrudes out.
