In some ways I'm glad I didn't go for the lip from the dealer, in others I'm not. I think the front end looks way too plain. I'd like to add a lip to it, but the OEM looks really lame. I mean... Whats the point? A tiny little strip of plastic.

So with that being said, what's out there for an 04/5? The only ones I see are 03 and lower.

 

OEM and MUGEN.... unless you buy a whole new bumper from J's or Amuse

I'm kinda holding out to see some more aftermarket support for the OEM Front bumper.

 

i think the 04/05 bumper is harder to work a lip into because of the already dominant body lines and grill shape... to make a lip work and work well... im sure many companies have made and trashed ideas by now.... hopefully some good ones will come out

 

yeah thats very true. the 04 front was redesigned to suit the previous owners needs. IMO i think the 04 front won't have anymore lips coming out. Mugen, OEM, and that other brand are the only 3 available that i know of. I was hoping j's would make one, but they just made a whole new bumper.

Im going to get the Mugen lip, its that or a gp sports front, but i dont feel like swapping my splash guards out for the lower years to make everything fit right.

 

The OEM lip for '04+ is badass. I'm planning on purchasing one soon.

i dont like how the oem covers the indents on the bottom sides of the front. IMO it takes away its aggressiveness.

Mastergrade makes one that looks exactly like OEM, but is in either 1x1 or 2x2 carbon fiber.
