Putting aplate in the windsheid can cause great injury in a rear end accident. I would not recommend that as a solution unless you can mount it somehow. Otherwise a combination rear end impact followed by a front end impact could do amazing things to a passenger who will get hit with a license plat AND the airbag...you catch the idea I'm sure.

As for bumper mounting, you can moun with some heavy duty rubber or foan stripping so that the plat never touched the actual bumper, or you can ask around and see if any bay area folks still havetheirs. I'll look for mine, but i think mine went away along time ago. $60+ huh...

I have a front plate bracket I'm not using. I live in Florida don't need it. Willing to trade for the front bumper plugs and shipping.... let me know.
Edit: Doh! That is if the front plugs are red . If not I'll still send it if you pay shipping.

I bought my car out of state, and need to get it inspected as part of the registration process. I didn't get the bracket or bolts, nothin.
I plan to take it back off once I pass inspection. Does anyone have any ideas for a temporary fix?
